    I thought this book was a very fun book to read. It puts an amusing spin on pirates which I feel may grab the attention of some students. I would likely use this book as a fun reading time book. This book made me think about flags. I think it might be fun to read this and talk about what a flag may represent. I could then lead an art project where I have students create their own flags.
